About Us (well me really, lol)
I'm a homeschool mom of 3 wonderful kids. Well not all are really "kids" anymore. One is an adult and a mom of 2 little girls. Which means I am a grandma too. Not exactly my plans, but love it all the same.
My younger 2 are still "school age" and enjoy being outdoors and having fun. So needless to say we tend to unschool quite often.
I usually say that we are "classically electic unschoolers". We like the classical approach, are eclectic with what we use, but are total unschoolers at heart. We usually go with the flow. We dont "book" learn daily. Heck we dont book learn on a regular basis.
My 13yog does take classes w/ our state virtual school, but that is her decision. She likes to learn and wants to learn it all.

Homeschooling Support Groups
This year we are working on Florida Studies. Our homeschool group has a group that gets together and shares what they are learning. They also have monthly camping trips to various parts of the state.
We are reading many books about Florida. Its history, government & people.

We love to sightsee and visit new places. I will be updating as often as possible about that places we visit.
